(4) (D). Four hours per week. Prerequisite: REA 0019A and approval of department chair. This course is designed to develop basic reading skills necessary for success in college-level courses. Topics include main idea, supporting, details, the purpose and tone of the author, fact and opinion, organizational patterns, relationships, vocabulary in context, inference and conclusions, reasoning and argument. This course may not be repeated.
