(3) (A.A.) Three hours per week. This course describes patrol techniques and the advantages of each. Classes teach students how to prepare reports, discuss techniques and safety when stopping and searching vehicles and people, explain police communication techniques as well as public service announcements and presentations to citizen groups, discuss traffic administration, steps in traffic accident investigations, concepts of selective enforcement and computers in traffic enforcement and advantages of various vehicles in traffic and patrol functions and discusses police ethics and the impact of internal and external controls on police.
