ARH 2051 ART HISTORY: RENAISSANCE THROUGH PRESENT (3) (A.A.). Prerequisite: ENC 1101 with a grade of “C” or better. This course meets Area IV requirements for A.A./A.S. general education requirements. This course surveys the art and architecture of the West tradition from the Renaissance to Contemporary Art. Special focus will be given to the placing major works of art and artists in a historical and stylistic context. This course meets the 6,000-word Gordon Rule requirement and part of the international/intercultural requirement.
