Introduction to Bioinformatics (3) (A.S.) Prerequisites: BSC 2010. This course presents students with the fundamental knowledge and skills of bioinformatics. Specific topics to be covered include: data file formats, accessing public databases for retrieval and submission, analysis using common tools, methods for high throughput data collection, storing and accessing biological data, and algorithms used to analyze data. Additional special fee is required.
