This course addresses Florida Educator Accomplished Practice Competencies. The course focuses on concepts and knowledge appropriate for proper language structure and cognition of phonological awareness, phonics, fluency and oral language, vocabulary, and comprehension. Instruction in this course is grounded in scientifically based reading research as an instrument to guide instructional practices.
