(3) (A.A.) Prerequisite: Successful completion of REA 0002 with a grade of "C" or higher or appropriate score on reading placement test. This program is designed to develop efficient reading skills for purposeful application. Emphasis is on development of vocabulary, comprehension, reading techniques, critical analysis and written response to various types of reading materials. Instruction is presented through a lecture-participation approach.
