(4) (D). Four hours per week. This course is designed to develop basic reading skills necessary for success in college-level courses. Topics include main idea, supporting, details, the purpose and tone of the author, fact and opinion, organizational patterns, relationships, vocabulary in context, inference and conclusions, reasoning and argument. REA 0019 cannot be repeated. However, students who do not earn a grade of "A.", "B.", or "C." will be allowed to register in REA 0019A.
