(3) (A.A.) This course is a study of the physical, social, behavioral, emotional, personality and cognitive factors that affect the
development of children birth to adolescence. Focus will be given to the impact of these developmental changes and the appropriate educational environment to best meet the individual needs of these young children. This course is one of four required to meet the educational requirements for the DCF Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC). Field experience hours are required in this course.
