(3) A.A. This survey course is designed to introduce students to college life. Students will be able to improve their academic and communication skills so that they can successfully meet their educational goals. This course will promote academic success and persistence, active collaboration with college personnel, effective educational planning, and student engagement in college life. Students will have the opportunity to develop academic study skills, including strategies for time management, note-taking, test-taking, coping with test anxiety, reading, writing and class discussion.
