Database Design and Implementation (3) (A.A.). Prerequisite: CGS 1000 or CGS 1570 or COP 2170 or permission of instructor. Students will study relational database design principles in the context of a popular database management software package. Relationships, entity-relationship diagrams and normalization will be emphasized. Implementation will include the creation of tables, queries, forms, reports, macros and programs.
