(3) (A.A.) Prerequisites: MAT 0012 and REA 0002, or equivalent. This is a three hour lecture course that provides a corporate view of accounting principles from a user and preparer’s perspective. It is designed to introduce students to the major concepts in financial accounting, namely the accounting equation, the accounting cycle, financial statement preparation, and procedures and principles of accounting for assets and liabilities.
