(3) (A.A.). Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor and TPP 2700 and TPP 2110 or equivalent. This course introduces students to the acting process through class exercises, improvisation, beginning scene study, and cold-reading audition technique. Emphasis is placed on expanding the student’s use of self in an imaginative, creative and truthful way. Degree-seeking students who are making progress in their degree programs may repeat this course a maximum number of two (2) times; however, no more than a total of nine (9) combined credits of theatre production courses may count elective credits. Students are advised to consult the transfer university about the number of transferrable credits for theatre production courses.
