(3) (A.A.) This course will provide an overview of early childhood education from birth to age 8. The student will develop an understanding of theories and philosophies, family and societal influences on young children, planning principles of child growth and development, the role of play in early childhood. This course is one of four required to meet the educational requirements for the DCF Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC).
