Prerequisites: ACG 2021 This is an introductory course in managerial finance in which the students gain a clear, basic understanding of the fundamentals of finance and its related decision-making. This course examines the decisions firms make regarding financing and investing, both in the short-run and long run. Topics include debt versus equity financing decisions, short- term financial decisions, capital structure and dividend policy, mergers & acquisitions, ethical financial decision making, and basic risk management techniques.
