(3) (B.A.S.). Prerequisite: HSA 3111. This course is designed to introduce students to a range of issues related to health and health care in the United States. Course content will give students the opportunity to explore differing perspectives as they develop a deeper understanding of the issues and enhance their research and communication skills. The course will enable students to analyze and evaluate evidence regarding controversial issues and allow them to develop and practice skills in formulating and writing well-informed, well-articulated arguments and reflections.
