MUC 1211B Applied Music Composition IB (2) (A.A.) One hour per week. Prerequisite: MUT 1111 and MUC 1211 or equivalent. Students practice compositional skills with assignments to show precise musical notation skills and how to demonstrate an understanding of musical phrasing and form. Degree-seeking students who are making progress in their degree programs may repeat this course a maximum of two (2) times; however, no more than a total eight (8) combined credits from Applied Music may count elective credits. Students are advised to consult the transfer university about the number of transferrable credits for Applied Music courses. Additional special fees are required.
