BSC 2010C - Fundamentals of Biology I |
(5) (A.A.) Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week. Prerequisite: CHM 1025C or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better or one year of high school preparatory chemistry. This course meets Area V requirements for the A.A./A.S. general education requirement. In this course students will apply the scientific method to critically examine and explain the natural world. This course will cover molecular biology, cellular biology, genetics, metabolism, and replication. It is strongly recommended that students without recent coursework in biology first take BSC 1007C.
