(3) (B.S.) Pre-requisite: NUR 3805 or permission of BSN program director. This course offers an in-depth examination of the holistic nursing role in promoting population health. Principles of epidemiology, social determinants of health, community health assessment, health promotion, disease prevention, and population-focused planning and practice are explored. Note: This course is only offered for licensed RNs who are BS in Nursing majors.
