(3) (B.S.) Prerequisite/Corequisite: NUR 4636. 45 practicum hours. This course offers opportunities to practice the principles and theory of community health nursing in a variety of settings. Included are the identification of health care needs of the community as a client, and the nurse's role as a facilitator, teacher, and evaluator in promoting and maintaining health and wellness among diverse populations across the lifespan. An additional special fee is required.
