(5) (A.A.) Three hours lecture andthree hours laboratory per week. Prerequisite: CHM 1025C or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better or one year of high school preparatory chemistry. This course meets Area V requirements for the A.A./A.A.S./A.S. general education requirement. This course is a comprehensive study of the fundamentalsof biology including molecular and cellular biology, genetics and phylogenetic taxonomic principles, form and function of plants, animals and ecology. This course is intended for science and science-related majors. Students completing BSC2010C cannot subsequently get credit for BSC 1005C. Additional special fees are required.
