ECP 3009 - Economic Prob & Policy
(3) (BAS) Prerequisite: ECO 2013. This course focuses on theoretical economics' historical and philosophical foundations and review the primary macroeconomic traditions upon which complex policy debates rest in dealing with economic problems in the US and globally. Alternative economic solutions to these problems will be investigated. The course will emphasize the ability of free-market capitalism to provide appropriate policy guidance in resolving economic issues and how to apply these concepts to alternative economic systems globally. Case Studies analysis emphasizes the relationship between theory and practice in real-world circumstances.
