NUR 2732L Nursing Practice IV Laboratory (0) (A.S.) This course provides twelve hours of clinical experience per week.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of NUR 1023C, NUR 1023L, NUR 1730C, NUR 1730L, or NUR 2703C and NUR 2703L, and NUR 2731C and NUR 2731L. Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in NUR 2732C and/or successful completion of NUR 2813. This course is designed to assimilate the concepts within the three domains of the Individual, Nursing and Healthcare. Concepts related to the Individual include fluid/electrolytes, metabolism, perfusion, mobility, stress/coping, violence, and health-wellness-illness. Concepts related to Nursing include assessment, professional behaviors, and caring interventions. Concepts related to healthcare include managing care, healthcare systems, and quality improvement.
